Malak began painting after the war in Gaza in 2014. Since then, her career has taken off. This month, she was featured on the cover of GQMiddleEast.
Today is World Refugee Day - a day that holds a particular importance to the Palestinian people. In 1948, 750.000 Palestinians were forced to flee their homes in Palestine. Today, according to UNWRA, 5 million registered Palestinian refugees live across the world, many in refugee camps in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank, East Jerusalem - and in Gaza.
