Ramallah - Nisaa FM - Meet Youcef Shamasna, the restaurant owner who decided to confine himself, without his relatives, to cook for free for the city's hospitals of Marseille, France.

Following the containment measures adopted to prevent the spread of Covid-19, all restaurants had to close their doors in France. But Yousef, the owner of the Restaurant la Palestine, decided to cook for the staff of the city hospitals. Every day, he prepares, with the help of an employee, a hundred free meals and he provide the delivery service too, as reported by French media.

Yousef uses his savings of two years to prepare meals, this is why he can’t exceed a hundred meals a day.

He also had to confine himself alone, without his family, to avoid any contamination (when delivering to hospitals) as his wife is pregnant.
