Dr. Hakima Amri is an Algerian researcher and assistant professor at the biochemistry and celular and moleculr biology department of Georgetown University. Her breakthrough work in the feild of cancer research has brought her international attention.

Dr Amri studied at Constantine University in Algeria where she recieved a BS in developmental biology, she then recieved an MS in reproductive physiology and a PhD in Biochemistry from Pierra and Marie Curie University in France, before conducting post-doctoral training in molecular endocrinology at Georgetown University.
During her career, Dr Amri has registered three patents in the feild of cancer research and has been invited to speak at a number of conferences relating to her work.
According to US media sources, the most recent patent recorded by Hakima Amri related to the testing of drugs before marketing and the classification of types of cancer cases in order to provide appropriate treatment according to the response of each body of drugs provided, with the aim of accelerating the application of what is known as "precision medicine".
Cancer is one of the major concerns that plague Amri's country of origin. Official statistics indicate 50,000 new cancer diagnoses each year in Alegia, prompting the Algerian authorities to establish a committee headed by Professor Masoudi to study the situation and offer possible solutions.
