The 100 most powerful Arab women 2015

On March 1 2015, CEO Middle East announced its fifth annual list of the most important female influencers across the Arab world, with HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi topping the ranking for the fifth year running.  The first woman in the United Arab Emirates to hold a ministerial position, she has served in the UAE Federal Government since 2004, and won numerous international awards for her personal and professional achievements. In 2015, HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi was listed as the 42nd most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.

The second place on this year’s ranking was awarded the high-profile Lebanese-British lawyer and activist, Amal Clooney; third place went to Loujain Al Hathloul of Saudi Arabia who in 2014 ensured that Saudi women’s struggle for the right to drive made world headlines.
