The head of the Special Center for Women 's Cancer Dr. Nfouz Maslamani said : "Many women, most of women at the age of forty-five in Al- Amari refugee camp, did not undergo mammogram screening to detect breast cancer. There is not enough awareness for some women about breast cancer,"

Pointing out the fact about there is a misconception in some women that breast cancer is infectious disease, stressing at the same time the importance of holding awareness meetings and provides general information on tumors.

Also she mentioned that The municipality of Al-Bireh organized an awareness seminar on cancer, in collaboration with the Center yesterday, at the Women's Center of Al-Amari in Al-Bireh.
