Speed Sisters: Palestine's First Female Racing Team

Palestine's first ever female race team proves that women can compete as fearlessly and passionately as men in the tradtionally male dominated sport of drag racing. Competing on make shift tracks in the West Bank, the women come from all over palestine yet are brought together by their shared love of racing and determination to succeed.

The team are the focus of Amber Fares documentary "Speed Sisters" which not only showcases the women's talent and determination but also highlights the challenges of life under occupation, family pressure and being accepted by male peers.
