Speak Up! First episode aired on Radio Nisaa

On Monday August 8 the first episode of Speak Up! Palestinian Youth goes Radio was aired. The subject was the exchange of roles between students and teachers, and featured Minister of Education Dr. Sabri Saydam and student Ruba Najib.

The project, which is a collaboration between Nisaa FM and Deutsche Welle Academie, aims to increase media literacy among Palestinian youth, and will be broadcasting 14 episodes from August until November. The facilitators of the shows are students aged 14-16 who have attended the project’s summer camp which ended last week.
