The Women's Health Center of the Society for Culture and Free Thought, in cooperation with the Department of Midwifery at the Faculty of Nursing at the Islamic University, in partnership with the Medical Aid Society for the Palestinians and in honor of the International Day of Cancer, held a study day entitled "Cancer, Hope Despite Pain" Dr. Farid Thabet, Director of the Center for Women's Health, and Ms. Mariam Zaqout, Director General of the Association of Culture and Free Thought, And a number of interested and researchers And the collection of teaching students and staff members at the college.
Dr. Sawsan Hammad of the Ministry of Health reviewed a working paper entitled "The reality of the health sector and its impact on cancer patients in the Gaza Strip". The seminar was chaired by Dr. Firal Thabet, Dr. Mohammed Mansour, a therapeutic nutritionist, referred to the therapeutic alternatives to cancer, and Dr. Suad Labad, the early childhood and human development coach, explained the secrets of cancer healing with potential energy.
On the second scientific session, Dr. Arifah Al-Bahri discussed social media sites and their role in supporting cancer issues in Palestine. Dr. Khamis Al-Assi, from the Faculty of Medicine, pointed to the pain and palliative care of cancer patients. Nasser Abu El-Nour, a faculty member at the Faculty of Nursing, to the impact of the siege on the quality of life and health associated with survivors of prostate cancer residing in the Gaza Strip.
